1. Installation Precautions
- Check the O-ring surface before installation, no cracks, burrs, deformation or aging damage.
- Keep the groove and installation position clean, no iron filings, dust or sharp edges.
- Use lubricant (silicone oil or glycerin) for installation; do not use sharp tools to pry the O-ring to avoid cutting.
- Do not overstretch the O-ring excessively, avoid twisting and folding during installation.
- Install in a low-temperature environment properly; avoid forced assembly under high temperature.
- Ensure the shaft and groove size match the O-ring specification, avoid too loose or too tight fit.
2. Daily Maintenance Notes
- Regularly check for oil leakage, air leakage, aging and hardening of the O-ring.
- Avoid long-term exposure to high temperature, strong acid, strong alkali and corrosive liquid.
- Replace aging, deformed or failed O-rings in time, do not reuse old seals.
- Store spare O-rings in a cool, dry and dark place, avoid sunlight and ozone exposure.
- Keep equipment operating pressure within the rated range to prevent high-pressure burst damage.
- For long-term idle equipment, inspect and replace O-rings before restarting.
