Industrial X Ring, also known as four lip seal ring, is one of the most widely adopted sealing parts for hydraulic cylinders. It belongs to typical lip seal, which delivers outstanding sealing performance both for pistons and piston rods.

Compared with regular U-rings, X-ring performs better under variable pressure environments. When working under low pressure, it relies on lip interference deformation to realize sealing. The small contact surface brings lower friction and smoother reciprocating movement. As working pressure rises, the lip will produce larger elastic stretch deformation. The compression and bending stress will grow accordingly, automatically boosting the radial compression force of the seal. The contact length between the X ring and mating sealing surface will extend gradually, until the full axial surface fits tightly. This special four-lip X-shaped structure maintains stable and reliable sealing effect even under high hydraulic pressure.

We supply X-rings in two mainstream rubber materials with different temperature resistance ranges:
 

   Black NBR Nitrile Rubber: Economic general oil-resistant material, continuous working temperature range -30°C ~ +100°C, suitable for conventional hydraulic equipment with normal temperature working conditions.
 

  Brown FKM Fluoro Rubber: High-performance corrosion & heat resistant material, continuous working temperature range -20°C ~ +200°C, can resist high temperature and harsh chemical oil medium for heavy-duty industrial machinery.
